Sexwork
“I also feel [empowered] when I am shouting… in English or Spanish, ‘Your rainbow isn't doing shit if it's not doing anything for sex workers!’”
— Cecilia Gentili
As a sex worker, you’ve probably been reluctant to see a therapist for fear of intolerance or legal repercussions, but how you use your body is entirely up to you. I hope to help you be happy.
The sex worker clients I’ve seen have too often experienced rejection from families, harassment by law enforcement, and marginalization from mainstream society. Also, sadly, discrimination from medical and mental health professionals. My clients in the industry still face everyday professional and personal challenges much like everyone else.
I offer sex workers and their clients a compassionate, informed, private, and nonjudgmental setting in which to address issues of both career and life. Whatever the legal or moral climate, you deserve skilled, respectful mental health care.
“Anyone who thinks sex work is easy money has no idea just how complex and contradictory that job can be.”
— Lola Davina, Thriving in Sex Work
